Clemmie & Karl’s Joyful, Stylish Celebration at Yeldersley Hall

Some weddings are elegant. Some are wild. And then there are those rare, unforgettable celebrations that manage to be both so effortlessly. Clemmie and Karl’s wedding at Yeldersley Hall was exactly that: a vibrant, heartfelt, and impeccably styled weekend that perfectly reflected their personalities, creativity, and love for one another.

The couple had already officially tied the knot in an intimate ceremony at the iconic Marylebone Town Hall in London (click here for some of the images from that incredible day), surrounded by a select circle of family and friends. It was classic, meaningful, and full of tenderness. But their larger celebration at Yeldersley Hall in the Derbyshire countryside, that was where the magic truly came alive.

From the moment guests arrived at the grand Georgian estate, it was clear this wasn’t going to be a traditional affair. The entire day was bursting with playful, personal, and wildly stylish touches a true reflection of Clemmie and Karl’s shared vision and infectious energy.

Think: explosions of colour at every turn, florals that felt like modern art installations, a glitter ball piñata, and the kind of champagne tower that deserved its own standing ovation. And yes, it was all perfectly backlit by a spectacular burst of fireworks expertly rigged by Karl himself the night before. That’s the kind of thought and heart that went into every single detail of this celebration.

One of the most beautiful things about Clemmie and Karl’s wedding was how it struck such a perfect balance between elevated elegance and pure, unfiltered fun. There was nothing cookie cutter about it. Every moment, every element, felt deeply intentional and joyfully theirs.

As a photographer, these are the kinds of days you dream of capturing, not just because of the visual feast, but because of the people. From the emotional toasts to the spontaneous dance floor moments (which went off, by the way), it was a day filled with feeling, real, raw, exuberant feeling.

Yeldersley Hall offered the perfect backdrop for all of it. Its classic architecture and sprawling grounds allowed for such a beautiful contrast with the bold, creative styling choices. It’s always a joy to photograph at a venue that gives space for personality to shine, and this day did exactly that.
